The rooms at Marazul have a simple yet cozy vibe, with wooden floors and comfy furniture. It feels like a home away from home.
Personally, I'm not a fan of bathrooms with tubs or showers. But hey, some people love them!

The hotel is right in the centre of a lovely, quiet little town called Serra D'El Rei. The lady running the hotel was lovely , chatty and kind. Breakfast was good with plenty to eat. Parking was handy though I did manage to park in a spot used by a local farmer to sell his produce. For this I apologise.
The only thing that did not work was the WiFi. On the plus side though I headed to the Mariott Hotel in Pria D'El Rei and had the pleasure of using the WiFi there in the most opoluent of surroundings - with a view to die for!

We had a blast exploring the nearby surf spots and biking trails. The complimentary storage facilities for our surfboards and bikes were super convenient. The hotel was clean and well maintained, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend for active teens like us!
The only thing we wished for was a livelier nightlife scene in the area. We love to hit the clubs and have a good time, so it would have been cool to have more options for partying.

Lolita, the woman at reception, was really kind and wants to give you the best tips for your visit. The room was small but really nice, the bathroom was really small but usable. She has Nespresso for breakfast and this is important for italians after 10 days without a good coffee :) the hotel hasn't the lifter but it is just on a little square of the little town. Position is good to visit in 10km (we had the car) the beaches around: peniche, baleal, supertubos (surfer's beach) and others.
No lifter and little bathroom in our room, but nothing important respect to other positive things.

The main advantage of this hotel is the sweet charming lady that manages it. She is happy, friendly and has fascinating stories. I can assure you that you will become friends in no time :-) About the hotel itself: Excellent value for money, the room although very basic is clean and convenient. If you don't need a fency facility and a modest hotel is sufficient for you - this place is recommended. Take a glimpse at the church, in fron of the hotel. It is has interesting azulejos inside!
The hotel is located in a small village in the middle of the road between Obidos and Peniche. There is not much to do in the evening. You will definitely need a car.

The price was very reasonable at the place we wanted to stay. We walked into main street where some restaurants were situated and if we stayed longer we would have hired bikes. The hotel was quiet and if the weather would have been warmer the pool would have been great to use. It was very comfortable, clean and the service was excellent. We liked the fact that the car was undercover and safe and that wifi is throughout which a lot of hotels on the algarve do not have.
Just somewhere to put the wet soap or I suppose the bottles could be put next to the present dish. Kettle has to be turned off at wall instead of one that just switches off itself. No big deal.

Had a great stay at Marazul in Serra d'El-Rei! Our purpose was to explore the area, and we stayed for a few days. The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful, suggesting nearby restaurants and being fluent in multiple languages. Our triple room was spacious and comfortable, with a proper third bed and mattress. The breakfast buffet had a variety of choices and was delicious. The hotel's location in a quiet town was perfect, and the WiFi worked really well.
Do recommend this hotel.

The hotel is located in a charming village, close to a historic town. The room had a lovely view of a church and was clean and comfortable. The staff, especially Khalid, were incredibly attentive and welcoming. The town itself had a special atmosphere and the fog added to its mystique. The host was charismatic and helpful, and the breakfast options were varied. a fantastic experience with great service and a local feel.
